Your mission during this flight
As System Engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the development and release of the Hydrogen tank sub-system in various Aeronautical projects and applications. You will be responsible for the development of system architecture, assignment of system requirements to the sub-systems and components, the balancing the of system architecture and requirements in collaboration with the Engineering team and responsible for the final technical decisions for your system.
Your tasks
- Responsible for the system development
- System architecture concept generation, evaluation and selection
- Organisation, in collaboration with the Simulation and Test Groups, of the generation and analysis of system models and tests
- Lead, in collaboration with the Engineering team, the evaluation, optimisation and selection of the system architecture
- Break-down, assignment and balancing of system requirements to sub-systems:
- Definition and documentation of the requirements for your system
- Decomposition of high-level requirements and their allocation to sub systems and components
- Lead requirement trade-off analysis to optimise your system performance
- Ensure in collaboration with the Test & Validation Group the requirements can be validated
- Contribution to the Engineering Organisation:
- Establish close and productive intra-group and intra-department working relationships
- Identify best practices and opportunities for increasing quality and efficiency
Our check-in requirements
- Completed Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, Physics or a similar technical degree course
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in the development of aerospace systems
- Excellent technical knowledge and demonstrated working experience with liquid hydrogen Tank storage systems
- Relevant experience in system architecture development and requirements engineering, from requirement definition to verification
- Proven ability working in a fast-moving, flexible environment
- A vision for the necessary resources, organisation and structure to enable successful Systems Engineering
- Strong intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
- A dynamic, positive and authentic personality and an identification with the vision of realizing zero-emission flying
- The aspiration to be part of a motivated and ambitious team and satisfaction in achieving goals together and sharing best practices
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
