Your mission during this flight

As System Engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the development and release of the overall Fuel Cell Powertrain system in various Aeronautical projects and applications. You will be responsible for the development of system architecture, assignment of system requirements to the sub-systems (Fuel Cell, Tank, HV and Controls sub-systems), the balancing the of system architecture and requirements in collaboration with the Engineering team and responsible for the final technical decisions for your system.

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the system development
  • System architecture concept generation, evaluation and selection
    • Organisation, in collaboration with the Simulation and Test Groups, of the generation and analysis of system models and tests
    • Lead, in collaboration with the Engineering team, the evaluation, optimisation and selection of the system architecture
  • Break-down, assignment and balancing of system requirements to sub-systems:
    • Definition and documentation of the requirements for your system
    • Decomposition of high-level requirements and their allocation to sub systems and components
    • Lead requirement trade-off analysis to optimise your system performance
    • Ensure in collaboration with the Test & Validation Group the requirements can be validated
  • Contribution to the Engineering Organisation:
    • Establish close and productive intra-group and intra-department working relationships
